Yes, that’s right, you just received an email or checked the hrjazzy.blog website and there is a new post! * I know, I’m shocked too*
Before I get into today’s blog, I first have to say Thank You! I was honestly expecting to check the views on this website and see zeros across the board but that’s not what happened. I am extremely grateful to everyone who continues to support.
Now, I hope you’ll support me in my new engaging HR venture, BakedHR!
A few years ago my friend Kristina Minyard (@HRecruit / hrpockets.com) and I started talking about creating a platform to speak to HR Newbies and HR Professionals. Living in the same area, it seemed to be a great idea. We didn’t want to do a podcast, so we made the crazy choice to get on YouTube … what were we thinking!
Although it took a few tries, a few different names, and a lot of learning, which is still happening, we decided 2020 was proof that you never know what will happen and to just go for it. We released our BakedHR Introduction in October of 2020 and haven’t looked back … so far.

Follow us on Instagram @bakedhr and join us every Sunday night at 7pm cst as we go Live and tell some HR Horror Stories and rant about our favorite (not really) HR topics like “War for Talent” (barf) and Millennials (take a shot). Plus, you know I still have a love of all things funny memes and gifs so we share a lot of those!
You can even expect a few BakedHR guest and a lot of mentions of our lawyer and benefit friends! We have a special episode discussing Mental Health w/ guest Tamara Rasberry that will come out on Wednesday, January 27th and we are extremely excited to record it, I mean, have you seen the state of the world and HR??!
To sum up BakedHR, we’re just 2 HR friends who love to bake and talk about all the things we should probably be blogging about in the HR world but never find the time to sit down and write.
So yes, in short, HRJazzy is BACK! You can at least expect a post at the end of every month telling you what we’ve been up to on BakedHR, but I hope you won’t have to wait until then and that you’ll go ahead and follow us! And, maybe it will give me some inspiration to finish a blog post.
